Two degrees, without extension of study time
Meeting the challenges of the future will require managers educated in integrated study programmes transcending borders. This is why, within the field of business administration and management, the University of Bamberg and its partner universities offer the opportunity of joint study programmes with a bi-national nature.
Studies abroad are an integral part of the Bamberg curriculum with the aim to cultivate important skills such as foreign language proficiency, flexibility, and intercultural competence. As a graduate of the programme, you will not only be a part of an exclusive circle, but you will also have proven your commitment and motivation. Currently, we are offering double degree programmes in business sciences with the following partner institutions:
Bachelor in Business Administration
Master in Business Administration
Master in Finance and Accounting
We support you with the academic planing and organisation of your year abroad!
You will recognise the advantages of studying at a smaller university, especially in the double degree programmes. We support you throughout your studies and provide you with our own student advisors who have been familiar with the programmes for many years.
Participation in a double degree programme requires a separate application, but they offer many advantages for students.
- You know which partner university you will be spending the second year at before you start your degree programme in Bamberg.
- You do not have to worry about credit transfer.
- You can usually adapt the proposed programme to your interests.
- In most programmes, our International Office will take care of the registration at the partner university for you.
- In many programmes, you will automatically receive an Erasmus scholarship.
Foreign languages play a central role in the double degree programmes. Through our Language Centre, we offer you the opportunity to improve or deepen your language skills in the first year of the programme or, if necessary, to start from scratch. You can find information on the current programme here:
Please note the shorter application deadline, which you will find further down on this page or on the programme pages. During the application phase, you are of course welcome to contact us in person, by telephone or by e-mail with any questions you may have!
General information about applying for a double degree
Double Degrees in the Bachelor
The double bachelor programs of the Department of Business Administration are integrated into the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Participation in the double bachelor's degree is only possible if one is granted access to the bachelor's degree program in principle. Students must enroll in the bachelor's degree program in addition to applying for a place in the double degree program. In order to avoid exclusion from the double degree program due to lack of enrollment in the bachelor's program, we strongly recommend that you enroll in the bachelor's program as soon as possible or observe the processing times of the Registrar's Office.
For more information on the Bachelor of Business Administration program and enrollment, please see the following pages:
