ESPAnet Germany

ESPAnet (The European Network for Social Policy Analysis) ist ein wissenschaftliches Netzwerk, das den Austausch und die Kooperation von Sozialpolitikforscher:innen in Europa f?rdert.

In vielen L?ndern Europas haben sich nationale Ableger von ESPAnet entwickelt. Auch in Deutschland hat sich ESPAnet Germany als regionales Netzwerk etabliert. Getragen wird ESPAnet Germany von der interdisziplin?ren Kooperation der Sektion Sozialpolitik der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Soziologie (DGS) und des Arbeitskreises Wohlfahrtsstaatsforschung der Deutschen Vereinigung für Politikwissenschaft (DVPW). ESPAnet Germany folgt den grunds?tzlichen Anliegen von ESPAnet Europe und setzt sich für die F?rderung der Sichtbarkeit der Sozialpolitikforschung in Deutschland ein. Ein Fokus unserer Arbeit liegt auf der Unterstützung junger Forscher:innen in der Entwicklung ihrer F?higkeiten und Kenntnisse in der Sozialpolitikanalyse durch regelm??ige Veranstaltungen für Promovierende. Inhaltlicher Fokus sind die deutsche Sozialpolitik in vergleichender europ?ischer und globaler Perspektive sowie die internationale und supranationale Sozialpolitik in ihrer Bedeutung für die Sozialpolitik in Deutschland.
