Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Please note:
There are NO courses in engineering, medicine, natural sciences (biology, chemistry etc.) or sports!
There are NO Bachelor’s degree programmes taught in English!
Overview of the currently offered study programmes for NON-exchange students:
- Bachelor programmes
- Teacher Training programmes
- Master programmes
- International degree programmes (e.g. Master’s degree programmes taught in English)
- PhD programmes
EXCHANGE students select from a special range of subjects and receive specific instructions during their application procedure.
Please note:
- In almost all degree programmes, the language of instruction is German!
- There are NO Bachelor’s degree programmes taught in English.
- There are only VERY FEW Master’s degree programmes taught in English.
- EXCHANGE students receive specific instructions during their application procedure.
Non-exchange students are international students who
- do not take part in an exchange programme;
- apply for Bachelor’s, Teacher Training, Master’s or PhD programmes, or for the DSH semester course, the Studienkolleg or a short-term non-degree study programme.
Exchange Students must be enrolled at one of our partner universities and must be nominated by their home university as an exchange student.
